Aaliyah Haughton made headlines in 1994 when she released her first album Age Ain't Nothing but an amount. Her album, which was made available at just 15 years of age, went Gold. R. Kelly heavily influenced the collaboration and brought the artist to the forefront. In 1996 Jermaine and Timbaland came out with Aaliyah's sophomore album One In A Million. It featured If You Girls Only Knew the top-selling single. Aaliyah became a well-known R&B artist after her album's release. In 2000 she starred in the action and romance film Romeo Must Die alongside martial artists Jet-Li. Joel Silver, the film producer, saw her during a awards ceremony and offered the role. In 2002, she was part of the film vampire Queen of the Damned based on the Anne Rice book. After that, she entered the Matrix by playing Zee as Zee in The Matrix Sequels having also performed in The Matrix Reloaded in 2003 and The Matrix Revolutions in the same year. The year 1999, 2001, 2002, and 2003 the singer was nominated for four Grammy Awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Born in Connecticut to a family of Indian heritage. Mann is a contraction of her married last name Mankad. Aarti Magnumdar is her formal name. However, she has also used Aarti Magumdar for her stage name. Although she began her acting career by playing minor film and television performances, her acting career picked up speed in the late 2000s. Other than The Big Bang Theory her other most acclaimed works include Leverage (2012) Suits (2013) and Grey's Anatomy (2017). The commercials she has done have been for prominent brands like Volvo. Her acting career continues at Los Angeles, where she lives with her son and husband.
