Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American model and actress. Talent agents noticed her talent and encouraged her to make a profession as a model or actor. After some reflection, she decided to leave the university to pursue a career in the world of entertainment. Her disappointment was with her performance in the film Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. She spent lots of time honing acting skills as well as appearing in some low-budget productions in order to show her abilities. The actress had a tough journey, however she got rewarded for her persistence and sheer willpower. Her name was praised and she received positive reviews for her performance in the movie Training Day after which her acting career began.
