Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is an American actor, producer and model. The actor gained notoriety for his work with Road Trip he has since been featured in more than 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. As well as his roles with Road Trip he's been featured in more than 22 television shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural Srubs Lost Law & Order & Others. Qualls battled Hodgkin's lymphoma since he was 14 years old. Following two years of treatment, the cancer was cured. The treatment, however, at such young a time had a an enormous impact on his body and thwarted his development. After he started expressing his desire for as if financial security was the ultimate goal since he had seen poverty throughout the course of his youth. He stated "I've been living a frugal lifestyle for so many years that I'm in need of financial security or the world will feel out-of-control for me." He also considers his own childhood to see what he could do to stop bullying. The cruelty of bullying breaks my heart, he says. DJ's ideal job is become a father both in reel and on the real world. Although, he acknowledges that directors rarely cast me for such role. In the future, he'd love to have a child of his own as he is able to devote less time to his career and more to the child he has.
